About

Marketing is a people business. I'm a people person.

I'm Hannah Lee, a former nurse who traded dermatological surgery for brand strategy. I started Synovial because I kept watching great businesses get treated like line items by their agencies. Around here, you get a team that learns your business inside out, answers the phone, and celebrates your wins like they're ours. Honestly, they are.

The journey

How we got here

Clinic

Scrubs before strategy

Hannah is working as a nurse in dermatological surgery at the Mayo Clinic: precision work, real stakes, and taking care of people one at a time. That part never changes.

Start

The clinic closes. An idea opens.

COVID shuts the clinic down, and in the middle of it the idea for Synovial Marketing is born: local businesses deserve marketing that feels personal, strategic, and genuinely invested. Named for the fluid that keeps joints moving, because that is the job.

Hustle

The first client and a lot of business cards

The first website client lands, and the business cards start going everywhere: local festivals, vendor events, cold outreach, and one-on-one marketing plans. Synovial did not wait for attention. It created opportunities.

All in

Three months to make it work

Hannah leaves the hospital and gives herself three months to take marketing full time. The work deepens too: email marketing, HoneyBook, Flodesk, and automated follow-up sequences turn Synovial into a systems partner, not just a content provider.

Voice

The Masterclass hits the mic

Hannah completes the Jax Bridges business program and joins the Jax Chamber. The Email Marketing Challenge takes off, and in June the first episode of the Synovial Marketing Masterclass goes live.

Agency

Bigger accounts, steadier ground

Larger accounts arrive and retainers replace one-off work. Social media, content, paid ads, analytics, email, SEO, and automation come together into a full-service model, with clients like Dynamic Fence proving performance.

Growth

Thirty episodes and a doubled year

The Masterclass passes thirty episodes, networking events fill the calendar, and the Synovial name keeps growing across Jacksonville. By the company's own year-end recap, revenue doubled.

Brand

The full-circle agency

Defined pricing, professional proposals, strategic partnerships, and an end-to-end model: strategy, brand, web, content, social, email, automation, and analytics under one roof. Bigger and more strategic, with the same core.

this is where you come in

“The tools became better. The pricing became higher. The clients became larger. But the core stayed the same: help small businesses grow by treating their business like it actually matters.”
